God has dealt to every man a portion/measure of faith. That portion is exactly enough for one to fulfill his role in the church, and no role is more or less important than another. This is why Paul said that we shouldn't think of ourselves more highly than we ought to.
I must be careful how I treat the brethren; they are members of my body, and I of theirs; we of eachother's - of Christ's.
