Romans 7:7-13

Paul writes that the law is not sin; it reveals sin. Without the law, we would not know sin exists. The law is like a sign at the beach that tells the swimmers that there are sharks in the water - it tells us that we need to stay out of the water . . . it is for our own good and safety.
The only things that God restricts are attitudes and actions that will ultimately harm me.
