Romans 6:15-23

I have the choice each day - yield to sin, or yield do God. Yielding to God is more difficult . . . it's a harder job . . . but it comes with far greater benefits, including a free life-insurance policy. The better choice is clear.
It's one thing to know what choice to make, it's another to make it. Lord, give me the common sense I need to just choose to yield to you. Help me to think of what I'm gaining, not what I'm losing - for the things I am "losing" are but dung compared to the greatness of what is being gained.
"Ten frogs are sitting on a log; one decides to jump off. How many frogs are left on the log? Nine, you say? You, sir, are wrong. There are still ten frogs because the one frog only decided to jump - he did not actually do it."
