Romans 6:1-7

Grace does not give me permission to sin; it frees me from sin altogether, but I can still choose to live according to its ways (entangle myself again in the yoke of bondage - Gal 5:1). This passage leads me to believe that I have the power to abstain from sin altogether.
Me sinning is like a prince bowing to a dead man . . . a dead enemy. How pathetic is that?
Lord, your grace is beyond me . . .
