The disbelief of men does not make the faithfulness of God ineffective.
Men are liars, but God is "justified in His sayings."
It is wrong to do evil with good intentions. Even if something "good" comes from willfully doing something wrong, it is sin.
I can trust God's word - it is justified. I can take comfort in its truth, but also must be willing to abide by its laws.
